District Guide
The WLWVedALL District Guide was created to give an overview of the West Linn-Wilsonville School District’s neighborhood schools and the many programs offering language, alternative learning, college prep and much more. This guide could not possibly list everything, but it is our communal place to start.
The West Linn-Wilsonville School District is an inclusive district, meaning children with special needs are included in general education programming. We have an exceptional music program, after school robotics clubs, drama programs, ASB, art, competitive sports programs and SO MUCH MORE! Primary Schools
Boeckman Creek Primary is nestled in a beautiful natural setting where teachers design hands-on experiences to encourage exploration, intellectual development, and strong character, creating an environment filled with evidence of thoughtful work, research, and caring relationships.
Bolton Primary is a small, neighborhood school with a high walkability score, and both impressive academic ratings and student reported happiness. Our teachers, staff, and parents work together to ensure every child feels valued, engaged, and ready for new challenges each day. Bolton Primary also hosts West Linn’s Mandarin Immersion program.
Boones Ferry Primary was built in 2001 and is surrounded by pristine wetlands that inspire their dragonfly mascot. Boones Ferry fosters a vibrant learning community where their dedicated staff is committed to a holistic, personalized educational experience that values academic excellence, discovery, opportunity, and achievement.
Cedaroak Park Primary is a small, inclusive and equitable learning neighborhood school, nestled in the Robinwood area. With a close-knit community, they ensure academic and social-emotional success for each student, every day, with intention and care from all of their staff, teachers and fellow students.
Lowrie Primary School is nestled in Villebois on former agricultural land, transitioning into adjacent wetlands and the Coffee Lake ecosystems; it showcases green building design, supports independent learning and collaboration, and fosters a welcoming environment for interaction, play, and exploration.
Stafford Primary School is one of the earliest established schools in the district and the district’s only “rural” school. It has impressively high scores for student reported happiness and strong academic success. Stafford also has a school garden and as a one-story, level school, it scores highly for accessibility.
Sunset Primary School is the first established school in West Linn and has continued its tradition as a caring community focused on student learning, celebrating curiosity, persevering in all we do, treating each other with kindness and respect, recognizing everyone’s meaningful contributions, keeping each other safe, and meeting each school day with joy.
Trillium Creek Primary is committed to a culture of excellence and equity, nurturing each child’s unique potential through a supportive, inspiring environment where teachers foster growth and connection, specialists cultivate individual strengths, support staff ensure meaningful educational experiences, and families actively contribute to a vibrant community. Trillium Creek Primary also hosts West Linn’s Spanish Immersion program.
Willamette Primary is a walkable neighborhood school in the heart of downtown, historic West Linn.
Middle Schools
Athey Creek Middle is dedicated to fostering character, community, and excellence by promoting a safe and respectful learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, guided by three core principles: respect for each person, respect for learning, and respect for the school environment. Athey is set to host the Mandarin Immersion Program.
Meridian Creek Middle first opened its doors to students in 2017 with a focus on a supportive school culture, commitment to communication, authentic learning for all, and where students are first, always!
Rosemont Ridge Middle sits at the top on the hill in the Rosemont neighborhood and is a highly walkable neighborhood middle school. They strive to be a caring, joyful, healthy, and inclusive learning community. Rosemont hosts the Spanish Immersion Program.
Inza Wood Middle is a highly rated public middle school located in Wilsonville. Serving students from sixth to eighth grade, they are constantly trying to better the learning of ourselves and others.
High Schools
Riverside High is a small school in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. It offers an International Baccalaureate Degree as well as three Career and Technical Education Pathways: Construction and Architecture, Health Occupations and Business and Marketing.
West Linn High is a large high school that consistently ranks among the top high schools in the state of Oregon. With robust sports teams and impressive arts programs, as well as robotics clubs, West Linn High offers Advanced Placement (AP) classes as well as a list of CTE pathways: Digital Arts, Computer Programming, Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, Journalism and Technical Theatre, as well as the Spanish Immersion program.
Wilsonville High is the first and only high school in Wilsonville, Oregon. It offers a variety of AP courses and a list of CTE Pathways: Computer Programming, Digital Arts, Education, Engineering Technology and Journalism.
