Who we are

WLWVed4all was started by a group of West Linn-Wilsonville community members in November 2024 as the school district was considering school consolidation due to a projected future budget shortfall. We are here to provide members of the community with information about district events, discuss and share solutions, and give community members a voice in the process. We believe what affects any of our students, affects our whole community.

Wendy Gorski, Co-Founder: Wendy Gorski holds a BA from the University of Montana in Liberal Studies. She moved from Eagle River, Alaska to West Linn in 2023 for the inclusive WLWV school district. Her four children attend West Linn schools. She is an avid proponent that when diverse minds are accepted into society, our communities better embrace the humanity of others. She believes in the power of community and being a good neighbor. In her free time, she plays board games with her family, reads books, enjoys writing down her ideas and spending time in the woods.

Melissa Milewski, Co-Founder: Melissa Milewski is a life-long educator and cares deeply about education. A historian specializing in 19th and 20th century U.S. history, she taught US history for 14 years at universities in the US and England, including Columbia University, the University of Sussex, and Portland State University. She is the author of two academic history books, most recently Litigating Across the Color Line (Oxford University Press). She has a BA from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in History from New York University. She has two primary school children at WLWV schools and is a member of the Stafford PTA. When she has the chance, she enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, and writing.
